Join award-winning photographer and hiker Bob "Hiking Bob" Falcone for a crash course in wildflower photography. Learn Bob's secrets for making outstanding photos in all kinds of weather and lighting conditions, using anything from a cell phone to a high-end digital SLR. Then, join Bob in the field to put those secrets to use in a short practical exercise in wildflower photography. Dress for the weather, wear hiking shoes, and bring a daypack with water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, notebook and pencil, and a camera or cell phone for taking photos. This program starts in the Red Rocks Room.
A Colorado Springs resident for 27 years, Bob is an avid hiker & outdoorsman, and leads group hikes for both fitness, business and pleasure. Bob also writes an "Outdoors" column for the Colorado Springs Independentand is the author of "Hiking Bob's Tips, Tricks and Trails-A Guide to Hiking in Colorado's Pikes Peak Region".
