Scout Programs

SCHEDULING
*Programs are held every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, and last about 2 hours.

10:00am - Noon is Naturalist / Wildlife
1:00 pm - 3pm is Geology

  • Meet in the Red Rocks Room at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center
  • Programs include both indoor and outdoor activities(about 2hrs total), so dress appropriately for weather
MERIT BADGES AND REQUIREMENTS

***Brownies may complete:
  • Eco - Explorer
  • Watching Wildlife Try-its
***Junior Girls Scouts may complete:
  • Rocks Rock Merit Badge
***Cub Scouts may complete
  • Wildlife Conservation Belt Loop & Academics Pin
  • Naturalist - Webelos
  • Geology Belt Loop & Academics Pin

*Scout Programs are FREE
*No Siblings Allowed
*Limit 15 Scouts per Visit (4 Minimum), Combining Troops Allowed
*1 Leader MUST Stay with the Group
*Optional Junior Ranger Booklet ($2 per Scout)
